New 240,000 SF warehouse and 40,000 SF office facility. The facility was constructed for Solaris Group for lease to Bechtel, who is under contract with the Department of Energy to construct a Vitrification Plant for clean up of the Hanford Nuclear site. The project was a fast-track project with an accelerated schedule to meet the leasing requirements. The warehouse was built in 4 months and the office was built in 2 1/2 months during the winter. The office building was built to LEED-NC Certified specifications, incorporating both sustainable design and “green building” construction practices.
