While CSI Construction Company normally operates as a general contractor rather than a developer, we do have the ability to take on equity in our projects. This Market Club project presented an opportunity to purchase an entitled project that was fiscally infeasible and do a comprehensive redesign and re-entitlement that allowed the project to get off the ground.  The entitlement, design-build and value-engineering processes integral to making this project successful are relevant in the preconstruction services we provide for our clients.

Market Club is a historical repurpose project which includes the retrofit of an existing 100-year-old unreinforced brick building to a mix of 9,000 SF of commercial tenant space, 8 studio artist lofts in existing brick shell, and 13 new residential apartments in a 3-story endcap, along with over 6,000 SF of covered patio and extensive site amenity space.
